Meet Annika
With a background in communications, Annika understands the importance of organization, clear communication, and professionalism, all balanced with the approachability needed to create lasting client relationships. Coming from outside the traditional finance track, she brings a fresh perspective to the industry, specifically as it pertains to client account management.
Annika graduated from American University in 2024 with a B.A. in International Studies. Her academic and professional experience exposed her to finance from a macro policy perspective, sparking her interest in continuing to deepen her understanding of the industry.
Prior to Valorem Financial, Annika worked on the government relations team at Project C.U.R.E., a global nonprofit supporting healthcare access in high-need communities around the world. With a multicultural background and experience supporting humanitarian initiatives, she brings a people-first mindset to her work and is passionate about making complex systems more navigable and efficient.
Although not a Colorado native, Annika loves exploring and being outdoors, whether it be hiking, fishing, swimming, or skiing. She loves to travel, write creatively, and stay active in her community. Volunteering is especially meaningful to her, especially regarding children and access to education.
