Kim is a relationship-oriented Senior Wealth Advisor and Co-Founder of Valorem Financial. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner and Retirement Income Certified Professional ®, Kim graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Denver in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

After graduating and beginning her career in marketing, sales and management, Kim discovered her real passion was in helping people manage their financial lives. More motivated than ever, she went back to school, became registered and licensed, and switched careers. Kim started her career at Metlife as a financial planner, working there for over six years before transitioning to independent practice in 2009.

Kim co-founded Valorem Financial to help others lead inspired lives and plan for the days ahead. She advises successful couples and single women on how to create financial roadmaps through powerful, genuine connection and strategic life planning. Kim enjoys working with clients through the planning process and guiding them on the implementation of their individual plan. She finds satisfaction in watching her clients fulfill their goals. Thanks to her clients, Kim has been a recipient of the Five Star Professional Wealth Manager Award since 2014, and in 2016, was awarded the Carson Coaching Emerging Firm of the Year Award.

In her free time, Kim has a passion for teaching children about money and fostering financial literacy. Kim has taught the CFP® certificate program at Metropolitan State University of Denver, is on the board of the Outdoor Lab Foundation, and is a proud Girl Scout leader. She also loves to ski, camp, boat, hike, bike, and is a fan of the Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche. If all of that doesn’t give it away, Kim is a Colorado native, having grown up in Green Mountain. Today, Kim lives in southwest Littleton with her husband Greg, and their two teenage children, Evan and Stella.
